From this classic brownstone on New York's Upper West Side back to our traditional Kentucky roots, the concept for our locally-made, Kentucky-branded candle collection was conceived. After extensive research and testing of fragrance, wax, and wicks our vision became a reality: hand-poured, clean burning natural soy candles with carefully curated fine fragrances, featuring regionally inspired designs and branded with our original equestrian logo.

Celebrating our home state, we launched Brownstone in 2009 with 10 unique scents recalling the history and charm of beautiful Kentucky and began selling products to shops across the United States. In 2011, we opened our first retail location on Ashland Avenue in Lexington. Today, we still lovingly hand-pour our candles in our studio in Lexington in small batches to create a highly fragrant product and partner with retail stores and boutiques across the state to bring our products to your hometown.
